CLAS Training Workshops

CLAS offers free training workshops which have proved popular and have been well-received by both land managers and community growing groups.  We can deliver both technical training and facilitate group workshops.  Previous training has included:

  • An introduction to Leases and Licences
  • Communities Buying Land
  • Understanding Planning permission for Community Gardeners
  • Applying for a Tenancy
  • Land issues – problem sharing and solving
  • Barriers and solutions to urban land issues
  • Grazing for wildlife – finding local solutions for grassland management

The workshops are lively and interactive and are usually two hours long.  They work as standalone events, but can be run as part of a longer day or as a module in a course.
